Farming is the process of going out and killing mobs (mosters) almost non stop to try and get either a. good items, or b. a lot of items to make money from. At level 20 mobs shouldn't be too hard and if you go to really low areas you can massivelyu kill them for more loot. Farming gets very boring sometimes (atleast it does on other games), but in the end it pays off because you can make a lot of money or find that really cool item you've almost wanted or perhaps that really cool item other people want, and then you can sell that really cool item that others want for a lot of money and make a fortune. Hope this helps make it more clear for you! As before, if you have any more questions feel free to ask. |

Farming is not as effective or important in this game because there aren't any uber-powerful items etc.
There is a lot of PvE content that is designed for characters that are at level 20. Also, all future chapters(expansion packs) will be aimed only at characters that are already at level 20. |

This game is based on how skilled you are, not how many hours you play to level.
They even say this on "www.guildwars.com". Regards, Ashleigh. |

Guild Wars, in contrast, is based around your skill as a player. Our maximum level is twenty and you hit that very quickly, after about 20-30 hours of play. ,We call that 'The Point of Ascension'. Almost all of the content in the game and in the future Chapters is only available to Ascended characters, which means we don't have to worry about providing different levels of content. All the good stuff will be available to everyone. It's not our intent to force people onto the levelling up treadmill, so the level cap in Guild Wars is almost meaningless. |
